Check out Arvada Art Center for your Christmas shopping. I have fiber sculptures, wall hangings, vases and spirit dolls! There is also a great pottery sale to entice you. The hours are Wednesday and Thursday noon to 7:30, Friday and Saturday 10 am – 7:30 pm and Sunday 1 pm to 4 pm.
Come to the library to see my artwork and explore “Nature’s Promise”. The library has an art wall and I have been invited to exhibit my textile works from November 3, 2025 to January 3, 2026. The hours for the library are Mondays – Thursdays 9 am – 8 pm, Fridays and Saturdays 9 am – 5 pm and Sundays 12 pm – 5 pm. I am also exhibiting my work at the Arvada Center’s Fine Art Market from November 28 to December 14, 2025.

“One Snowy Night” has just been completed. I have hand painted over commercial fabric and added stitches and a black mesh which I’ve used as tree branches and roots. It measures 20″ x 24″.
Another wall hanging, titled “Letting GO” has used the white mesh to interpret disintegrating leaves as they are falling.
The Depot Art Gallery, in Littleton has provided a link to view all artwork in the Fiber Art Colorado exhibit opening this Thursday, October 11th. The reception is on Saturday, September 13th from 5:30 to 7:30. Their hours are 11:00 – 4:00 Tuesdays through Sundays and the exhibit runs until October 11th. Delivered my artwork titled “Becoming Undone” to the Depot Art Gallery this morning. The Fiber Arts Colorado Exhibit runs from September 9th through October 12th. They are closed on Monday and open from 11:00 to 4:00 pm Tuesdays – Sundays. Plan a visit to see some innovative fiber art.
Aspen on the Rocks
My newest wall hanging, titled “Aspen on the Rocks” is on hand painted linen, with fused silk tree trunk and wool felt leaves. I have also used some black floral wrapping paper and turned “rocks” appliqued at the bottom and perle cotton grasses.
Dropped 4 wall hangings this morning. One was left at Apex Recreation Center and it has already been claimed! I left one at two locations where you go to borrow and 1 where seniors go to recreate. #artdropdenver2025 for more info.

These are called anthotypes which involve mixing turmeric with rubbing alcohol (I used 70%), painting that solution on paper or fabric. Once dry, place plants on the surface and cover with glass or plexiglass and place in direct sunlight for 1 – 3 hours. Remove your masks and rinse in water mixed with baking soda or Borax. Some printed yellow and some red, depending on how much turmeric was involved. Major drawback: these will fade eventually, so take photo images you could then use as greeting cards. I have just been notified that my work, “Becoming Undone”, has been accepted into Fiber Art Colorado’s exhibit at the Depot Art Gallery. Event dates are September 9 – October 11, 2025. The Depot is located at 2069 W Powers Ave in Littleton, CO. The gallery is housed in a restored 1888 train depot. It’s a fun destination, so put it on your calendar for a visit this coming fall! (Last year’s exhibit was a little earlier).
I have been taking an online class with Laly Mille, titled “Layers of Light”. We take burlap and cover it with joint compound or plaster and then add encaustic and create compositions on them. First on the left is Holding the Moment, next is A Fallen Leaf, then On Gentle Wings, and finally Captured Moments
